Girls Youth Flag Football Leagues with i9 Sports®

Select i9 Sports locations feature girls-only flag football leagues to provide young girls with sports development opportunities with people on the field who are at similar developmental stages as they are.

Female Flag Football is a growing sport across the country, and focusing on girls only allows for girls to develop their flag football skills in a safe and supportive environment as the sport for females expands across the country.

Girls Flag Football Leagues

For areas that offer girls flag football leagues, they will only play with and against all-girl teams. i9 Sports girls Flag Football leagues include newly-formed teams every season.

This means there are options for teams that had a cohesive prior season to sign up to play together again. We love when girls become friends and develop friendships through teamwork and healthy competition. When girls are looking to make new friends, we can match individual players to teams. There are many options for teams, and one of our core values is inclusion.

Girls Flag Football Practice Commitments

We know families today are busier than ever, which is why all of our leagues, including our girls flag football leagues, are structured with a one-day-a-week commitment.

Practices are scheduled before the games, so girls can immediately implement their new skills in a game environment.

Why Play Girls Flag Football?

Girls flag football teaches young girls essential life skills. These include working as part of a team, learning how plays are developed and executed, developing fine motor skills, and more. With these skills, girls are well-positioned to play flag football at higher levels, including at middle school and high school teams. Or, they can transfer the skills they learn through flag football to a variety of other sports.
