Program Details

5 - 7 Week Schedule - Including an opening day and playoffs.
Everybody plays. Every game!
There are No Tryouts, No Drafts, and No Fundraisers!
Teams are organized in divisions based on the age of the child. Teams consist of 8-10 players coached by a Volunteer Coach so please consider volunteering.
Practices are conveniently held on game day - just prior to the game.
We reserve the right to change the groupings based on final registration.

Example Below of what age groups and format COULD look like

Teams and Divisions
We create divisions based off of numerous factors (age, skill, etc.). If there is a shortage of player in a particular age division to run a league, we will run an instructional program or adjust the age groupings of divisions. Under the instructional format, we will have a staff member who specializes in the sport to lead the group. Teams can vary from week to week and kids will be broken up with a goal of creating the best possible experience for all kids.

Buddy Requests
We will accommodate buddy requests when possible. Simply note buddy's first and last name at time of registration. Players will be placed in the age division of the oldest player of the group. For example, if you have 4 players, ages 9, 9, 10, and 11, they will play in the (11-12) age group. For the safety of our players, we do not play older players in the younger divisions.

Coaches & Referees
All coaches, usually a volunteer parent of a child playing on the team, will receive mandatory certified background checks. Please consider volunteering! Coaches will find the experience personally rewarding.. Please click here to become a coach.

We provide detalied practice plans each week per age division.Volunteer coaches play a large role in helping keep teams on task, ensuring all children have equal playing time and help execute an engaging practice and game each week. Our leagues cannot operate without the assistance of volunteers, so we greatly appreciate your consideration in signing up to help coach. Coaches receive a $25 registration credit each season they coach. After they have coached 4 complete seasons, the 5th season is free.

All referees are trained to ensure the highest level of professionalism during all games

Equipment

An official i9 Sports® Reversible Soccer Jersey is provided and included in your fee
Goalie gloves and jersey provided by league
Players may wear shorts or sweatpants (No belt loops)
Rubber cleats or sneakers (No metal spikes)
Shin Guards are required at all times during play (Sold at the fields for $10)

Awards
Each week one child from each team will be awarded an i9 Sports Sportsmanship Medal for demonstrating the value for that week. Championship winners per age group will receive a trophy at the end of the season except for Pee Wee. All Pee Wee players will receive a participation award.

Staff
There will be an i9 Sports Site Manager as well as an i9 Sports Soccer Coordinator on site to assist in programming details and provide support to players, coaches, and parents. These staff members undergo a background check.

i9 Sports Families
It is the essence of the i9 Sports Experience to have families attend practice and games to cheer on their athlete(s). We encourage at least one parent or guardian to join in all game day activities as a spectator, motivator and role model. Let's work together to put the "fun" back into youth sports!
