WELCOME TO THE i9 SPORTS® BASEBALL LEAGUE!

We are excited to offer yet another season of i9 Sports Basball. Our number one priority is having fun, learning how to play the game, and focusing on good sportsmanship.

Program Details
  • 6 Week Schedule (Including Opening Day & Playoffs)
  • Everybody plays. Every game! This is a Recreation level league providing a place for beginners and intermediate level players. Our rules are modified to ensure learning occurs and to improve the quality of the experience for the young player.
  • There are No Tryouts, No Drafts, and No Fundraisers!
  • Teams are organized in divisions based on the age of the child. Depending on age group and format, teams range from 10 to 14 children on the roster.
  • Practices are conveniently held on game day - just prior to the game.

Ages Group Players on the Field Practice Time Game Time
Pee Wees 3 - 5 All Players 30 Minutes 45 Minutes
Minors 6 - 8 All Players 30 Minutes 60 Minutes
(Age ranges are tentative and times may vary. We reserve the right to alter the age groups based on final enrollments.)
Teams & Divisions
We create divisions based off of numerous factors (age, skill, etc). If there is a shortage of players in a particular age division to run a league, we will run an instructional program or adjust the age groupings of divisions. Under the instructional format, we will hire a person who specializes in the sport  to lead the group. Teams can vary from week to week and kids will be broken up with a goal of creating the best possible experience for all kids. Age groups will play/practice together at the same times each week so you can still request to play with friends.

Equipment
The league provides each player with an official i9 Sports Basbeall reversible jersey that your child gets to keep (the kids love the reversible jersey). Players may wear shorts or sweats of any type, as long as they do not have pockets or belt loops. Appropriate footwear includes football/soccer/baseball rubber cleats (no metal).

A baseball glove is required and must be provided by the parent.

Mouthguards will be available for sale at the i9 Sports Tent on opening day and thoughout the season.

Awards

Each week one kid from each team will be awarded an i9 Sports Sportsmanship Medal for demonstrating the value for that week. All kids will receive an i9 Sports Participation Medal.  Pee-Wees will also receive stickers for each player.

Coaches

All coaches, are volunteer parents of a child playing on the team and will receive mandatory certified background checks as well as online training.
Please consider volunteering! Coaches will find the experience personally rewarding and fun!

If you are interested in learning more about coaching with i9 Sports, please visit the “Become A Coach” page of the website or click  VOLUNTEER.

Staff
There will be an i9 Sports Site Manager/Baseball Coordinator on site to assist in programming details and provide support to players, coaches, and parents. All referees are trained to ensure the highest level of professionalisnm during all games and at times can serve as an additional on-field coach.
All staff members undergo a background check.

If you are interested in joining our team of staff contact our League Office or visit our Employment Oppotunities page.

i9 Sports Families
It is the essence of the i9 Sports Experience to have families attend practice and games to cheer on their athlete(s).  We encourage at least one parent or guardian to join in all game day activities as a spectator, motivator and role model.  Let's work together to put the "fun" back into youth sports!

Interactive Website
You can register to play, access schedules, view standings and team/player statistics, review game rules, and get the latest league news at our state-of-the-art website. The website is updated on a regular basis so please check the site often.

Weather Cancellations
There is one weather make-up date built into the schedule. If we lose a weekend of games to weather, we will make them up on this date. Any additional dates lost may or may not be made up. We will do the best we can, but cannot control the weather. Because of all of the costs built into running leagues, we cannot provide refunds for dates missed. We will do all we can to make all the games happen.

Information regarding weather cancellations will be communicated through email, text messages ( Must be opted in ), i9 Sports Weather Hotline and the i9sports.com website page.

Siblings signed up for different age divisions?
Please note that program times for each age division vary depending on the number of teams and kids enrolled. Back-to-back game times are not guaranteed. Also, while we will do our best to accommodate siblings in different age groups, there is a possibility that siblings at different venues could play at the same time. Please let us know if you have any questions and we hope you consider these possibilities at sign-up.

Registration/Refund Policy
All dates, times, and location are subject to change. There will be NO REFUNDS after the registration deadline. If for any reason your child can no longer participate prior to the season start date, we can transfer your child's registration to another sport or season. Coaches are volunteer parents and refunds are not provided if a team does not have a registered volunteer coach. After the final deadline, any remaining positions will be filled on a first come, first served basis. If you registered after the deadline, you may still make buddy or coach requests, but they are no longer guaranteed*.

*We do our best to honor all buddy and coach requests, but no request is guaranteed.
