Program Details

7 Week Schedule - Including an "Opening Day"
Everybody plays. Every game!
There are No Tryouts, No Drafts, No Fundraisers, and No Mandatory Volunteering!
Teams are organized in divisions based on the age of the child. Teams consist of 9-10 players.
Practices are conveniently held on game day - just prior to the game.

At the parent's discretion, they may request to move their

4 year old up to the 5-7 year old division.

3-4 year old T-Ball Division:

60 minutes of playing time (30 minute practice, 30 minute game).
Temporary baseball fields are set up in grass and are 40 ft x 40 ft. Games are played in grass to slow down the ball and limit the playing time in the dirt.
All children will play the entire game, in the field and at bat.
All players swing until they are able to hit the ball off the tee and advance to first base.
Each inning, both teams bat until their entire line up has hit.
No outs will be recorded. No score is kept.
All players should rotate positions in the field (there is no catcher position).
All coaches and parents are allowed on the field as needed to assist.
AT THE PARENTS DISCRETION THEY MAY REQUEST TO MOVE THEIR 4 YEAR OLD UP TO THE MODIFIED COACH PITCH (5-7 YEAR OLD) DIVISION. TO DO SO, YOU MUST PUT THIS REQUEST IN THE SPECIAL REQUESTS SECTION OF YOUR REGISTRATION.

5-7 year old Modified Coach Pitch Division:

75 minutes of playing time (30 minute practice, 45 minute game).
Temporary baseball fields are set up in grass and are 40 ft x 40 ft. Games are played in grass to slow down the ball and limit the playing time in the dirt.
All children will play the entire game, in the field and at bat.
The coach will throw 3 pitches to his own players. If unsuccessful, a tee is used until the player hits the ball and advances to first base.
Each inning, both teams bat until their entire line up has hit.
No outs will be recorded. No score is kept.
All players should rotate positions in the field (there is no catcher position).
All coaches and parents are allowed on the field as needed to assist.

Equipment:

An official i9 Sports® Reversible Baseball Jersey and Hat is provided and included in your fee.
Players may wear baseball pants, shorts or sweatpants.
Rubber cleats or sneakers (No metal spikes).
A baseball glove is required (recommended 9 - 9 1/2"). Please label with your name.
We will provide for use: T-balls, Bats, and Batting Helmets.
You may use your own batting helmet and T-Ball bat (or use our equipment).
Protective cups for male players are optional.

Awards: Each week, 1-2 children (per team) will be awarded an i9 Sports Sportsmanship Medal for demonstrating the value for that week. All children will receive an i9 Sports Trophy at the end of the season.

Coaches/Staff: Our coaches are volunteers and are almost always parents of our participants. All coaches, referees, and staff are i9 Sports Certified and undergo a background check.

Volunteers: Want to help coach? Great! Simply fill out the volunteer information during the registration process. You may also become a Certified i9 Sports coach by clicking VOLUNTEER which will submit your information to the i9 Sports staff enabling us to complete a background check. Once submitted and approved, the i9 staff will apply your information to your child’s team roster.

Weather Cancellations: There is one weather make-up date built into the schedule. If we lose a weekend of games to weather, we will make them up on this date. Any additional dates lost may or may not be made up. We will do the best we can, but we cannot control the weather. Because of all of the costs built into running the leagues, we cannot provide refunds for dates missed. We will do all we can to make all the games happen.

Registration/Refund Policy: After the final deadline, any remaining available positions will be filled on a first come, first served basis. If you registered after the deadline, you may still make buddy or coach requests but they are not guaranteed. There will be NO REFUNDS after the deadline. If for any reason your child can no longer participate, we can transfer your child’s registration to another sport or season.
