6 Week Schedule - Including an opening day and playoffs.
Everybody plays. Every game!
There are No Tryouts, No Drafts, and No Fundraisers!
Teams are organized in divisions based on the age of the child.
Practices are conveniently held on game day - just prior to the game.

Important Policies & Details

LEAGUE COACHES ARE VOLUNTEER PARENTS

i9 Sports leagues are run by trained volunteer coaches, typically player’s parents. We target 2 volunteer coaches per team, so it’s ok to miss a game! IF NO PARENTS STEPS UP, then ALL PARENTS share responsibility with staff guidance. This means a different parent is leading the team each week which is not ideal for team/coach bonding and creates an inconsistent experience. So, please do not ignore coach recruiting emails/calls - if you can’t coach, then consider asking a grandparent, aunt, uncle, friend, or neighbor to volunteer! History shows that teams with volunteer coaches have a better and more consistent experience! All it takes is 15 min – a volunteer application and background check (emailed). You’ll have access to our i9 Sports Mobile Coach app, containing practice plans with videos of simple drills (also emailed each week in case that’s more convenient!). Staff will be available at each field/court to help volunteers if you have questions about or need help setting up/running the drills.

LEAGUE STAFF

There will be 1 site manager at every program and 1 staff member per field. Staff is responsible to support all volunteer coaches, referee games, record the score, answer questions from parents, coaches, players, spectators, and switch out equipment as needed between sports and age groups from session to session, etc. In some cases, our staff is there hours before any player arrives. STAFF ARE NOT ASSIGNED COACHES! If you’re looking for a professional coach, then consider registering for one of our clinics which focus on skills and drills! If you have a concern that is not being addressed on your field or court, then please escalate to the site manager or contact the league office at league.office287@i9sports.com

WEATHER DECISIONS & MAKE-UP GAME POLICY

Unfortunately, we do not control the weather and early forecasts can be wrong, so cancellation decisions are made on game day based on the current weather and latest forecast. Check our weather hotline (302-273-8921) before you leave for the latest status. Our weather-related make-up game policy is as follows:

If ONE game is rained out, then we do our best to add a make-up game (new date added to the season schedule). If we cannot secure a date/location for that make-up game, then we provide a prorated credit for that game only.
If TWO games are rained out, then the 1st one follows the rule above and the 2nd rained out game is scheduled into the existing calendar as a double header (back-to-back games instead of a practice and a game).
It’s unusual, but if THREE OR MORE games are rained out, then we follow the rules above for the first 2 rained out games, but WE DO NOT MAKE UP the 3rd (or more) games because we cannot extend the season indefinitely. Also, we cannot expect our awesome venue partners to keep their facilities clear for dates that may or may not be needed as they have their own events, rent to other organizations, too.

SCORE/STANDINGS UPDATE

Any discrepancies in scores must be reported for investigation within 1 week of the score being published. We have coaches sign off on the scoresheets, but we are human and transpose the scores when entering them into the website. The signed scoresheet is the final record, so volunteer coaches are responsible for confirming the score that they’re signing!

i9 Sports CULTURE

This is youth sports and we aim to provide a comfortable, safe, and fun environment for our players. If you cannot embrace our culture, disrupt practices/games with inappropriate behavior we will give you 1 warning before asking you to leave for that game day. If this happens more than once in a season, we will ask you to leave indefinitely and there will be no refunds as we also cover this concept in our Parent Pledge electronic waiver. Relax and have fun – “The Way Youth Sports Should Be!”

AWARDS

Each week one child from each team will be awarded an i9 Sports Sportsmanship Medal for demonstrating the value for that week. Every child will receive this during the season. All Super PeeWee & PeeWee players will receive a personalized participation trophy at the end of the season.

All first place winners of playoffs divisions (Juniors & Seniors) will receive a first place medal. Everyone else will receive a participation medal.

REFUND POLICY

If you need to make a change or cancel your registration, you have the following options for these scenarios:

31+ Days Before Opening Day

Cancel for a refund in the amount you paid minus $10 processing fee
Cancel and receive an i9 Sports credit** in the amount you paid with no penalty/fee
Move your registration to a different program at no extra charge unless the new program price is more than what you paid, in which case you would only owe the difference

30 Days Or Less Before Opening Day

Cancel your registration and receive an i9 Sports credit** in the amount you paid minus a $25 change fee.
Move your registration to a different program at no extra charge unless the new program price is more than what you paid in which case you would only owe the difference. The only exception would be if the chosen program is sold out.

7 Days Or Less Before Opening Day or After Opening Day– NO REFUNDS, NO CREDITS, NO EXCEPTIONS!

**Credits can be applied toward any future program for any sport, any venue (same territory), and any child in your household so long as the program is not sold out. Credits expire 18 months after the issue date.
