Find Another SportOffering youth sports programs in Dallas Fort Worth, Frisco, Little Elm, Prosper
After years as Program Director for i9 Sports Honolulu, I decided to take my passion for the i9 Sports mission to the next level, and become an owner myself. With my wife and son, we made the move to Frisco, Texas in the summer of 2016. Our goal is to provide an amazing sports program for all kids ages 3-14, which focuses on fun instruction, inclusion, and sportsmanship. As parents, you will enjoy a sports program that is safe, convenient, and organized.
I have experienced the life-changing power of properly executed youth sports in my own life, and I want to share that experience with kids to truly make a positive impact on our youth and the local community. We hope you join us on this journey and see why i9 Sports is "The Way Youth Sports Should Be."

Sports Offered
Which sports do you offer?
We offer year-round leagues and instructional clinics in flag football, soccer, basketball, baseball, volleyball, tennis, and multi-sport programs.
Are all sports available every season?
Most sports run year-round, except for Baseball/T-Ball, which is not played during the winter season. Please check our current season schedule on our website for exact start dates and locations.
Do you offer co-ed teams or separate boys/girls teams?
Most of our programs are co-ed. However, we do offer All-Girl Soccer and Basketball for certain age groups and locations. See program details for more information.
Is prior experience required to register for a specific sport?
Absolutely not—our programs are designed for kids of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced players. There are no tryouts required for our leagues and every player is required to play 50% of every game.
What if my child wants to try multiple sports in one season?
You’re more than welcome to sign up for multiple sports! Just note that game times and locations may vary, so make sure the schedules don’t overlap. For the most part, you can plan for Basketball and Tennis to be played on Saturday (there is one Sunday Basketball venue) and all outdoor sports (Soccer, Baseball, Flag Football, and Multi-Sport) to be played on Sunday.
Are there opportunities for specialized or skill-focused clinics?
Yes, we do offer sport-specific clinics for skill development at various times throughout the year. Keep an eye on our website or subscribe to our newsletter for announcements. Clinics are 4-week programs where players are grouped with a professional i9 Sports staff coach. The small group (6-10) will train for 60-minutes focusing on skill development, building confidence, learning fundamentals, and improving sports understanding.
Can siblings or friends play on the same team?
Yes, we do accept buddy requests and coach requests. You must indicate your request when you register and the players need to be in the same age division in order to accommodate.
Are sports leagues competitive or recreational?
Leagues are recreation-focused, but we introduce age-appropriate competition based on the age division. Here is the typical breakdown by division:
1. Tikes - No Score or Standings Kept
2. PeeWee - Score Kept, but no standings
3. Minor - Score and standings kept. The season ends with Bowl Games based on regular season standings.
4. Junior/Senior - Score and standings kept. The season ends with a Tournament and match-ups are based on regular season standings.
Age & Gender
What ages do your programs serve?
We typically welcome kids ages 3 to 14. Check individual sport offerings for specific age requirements and divisions.
Flag-Football: Ages 4-14
Basketball: Ages 4-14
Volleyball: Grades 1st-9th
Soccer: Ages 3-12
Tennis: Ages 5-12
Baseball: Ages 3-6
Multi-Sport: Ages 3-6
How are age divisions determined?
Age divisions are based on a child’s age as of a certain cutoff date. This helps ensure fair play and balanced competition. We use the age of the child at the end of the season. Divisional ranges are as follows for most sports:
Tikes (Ages 3-5)
PeeWee (Ages 5-7)
Minors (Ages 7-9)
Junior (Ages 9-11)
Senior (Ages 11-14)
Can my child play up or down an age division?
In most cases, we keep kids in their age-appropriate division for safety and competition balance. However, exceptions may be made if a child demonstrates higher skill or there are special circumstances. Kids are allowed to play up a division upon request but are not allowed to play down a division.
Contact us to discuss your situation.
What programs are Coed or Girl-Only?
We offer coed programs for all our sports, but some programs do have all-girl divisions.
All-Girl Divisions
Soccer - Ages 5-10
Basketball - Ages 6-12
Locations
Where are your programs held?

Do you offer indoor and outdoor programs?
Absolutely! Our soccer, flag football, multi-sport, and baseball leagues are typically outdoors, while basketball and volleyball are usually indoors. That being said we do offer indoor programs in Soccer and Flag Football.
Are there travel games during the season?
Yes, some of our sports and divisions may have travel games during the season to other nearby league locations. Travel games will not exceed 2-3 per season and will travel no more than a few miles away from their home venue.
