Originally from Chicago, Jim & Becky Avers moved to North Texas in 1992, where they raised 4 boys in the Southlake Carroll school district. Jim coached his own sons in a variety of youth sports and was excited to take that passion to a different level when they opened their first i9 Sports program in the spring of 2012. Even more exciting is the recent addition of Sam Avers to the team as Program Director! Along with other staff members, they are committed to providing a fun & safe sports experience for your child, always in a convenient manner for busy family schedules. What is the age range for the programs?
Age ranges vary by programs, check specific programs for that information. For reference, the youngest age offered is 3 and the oldest is 14.
Can my child play up or down a division?
We encourage playing in your own age division, unless you speak with a director directly. If you have questions on your child's division placement, email Sam at sam.avers@i9sports.com.
Programs
What sports do you offer?
Throughout the year, we will have multiple seasons of Baseball, Soccer, Flag Football, Volleyball, and Basketball. Check each venue to see when the next season is!
Coaching
How do I become my child's coach?
When you register your child, you have the ability to check the box that you want to volunteer to coach. You also can go to the tab "Coaches" and "Become a Coach" to volunteer. Lastly, you can email Sam at sam.avers@i9sports.com for more help.
What kind of coach resources do you provide?
We provide enough resources/content to ensure a fun and smooth season for you and your team. We provide in-depth virtual trainings, an in-person pre-season meeting and clinic, weekly practice plans, access to our exclusive i9 Sports Mobile Coach app, plus more.
