Recreational Girls Volleyball Time Commitment

Many of our girls volleyball teams have practice one day per week, right before the game. This makes it easy for many of our busy families. Some of our locations offer mid-week practices and clinics for girls who want to spend more time learning and playing.

What Do Girls Learn in Kids Volleyball?

Volleyball starts with kids who are a bit older because their slightly more complex hand-eye coordination is required than, say, beginning soccer. Girls learn how to hit the ball over the net, serve, return volleys, and rotate through the court.

As girls grow in their abilities and understanding, they learn more about what role each position plays, as well as more advanced volleyball techniques.

Our girls volleyball teams are beginner-friendly, so they’re a great way for girls to try out a new sport. For girls who have played before, they’re a great source of age-appropriate growth, development, and competition.
